1. Who we are
Yard Kitchen is operated by AMDR Foundation Inc, a non-profit organization registered in the State of Georgia, USA. For any privacy-related question contact info@amdrfoundation.org.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication credentials when you sign up or sign in.
- Subscription data: your subscription tier (Single Volume, All Access, or Lifetime). Payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Chat content: messages you send to our AI cooking assistants are forwarded to Anthropic for response generation. We do not persist chat content on our servers.
- Cookies: session cookies for sign-in, payment cookies set by Stripe, analytics cookies set by Vercel, and (with your consent) advertising cookies set by Google AdSense.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We distinguish between essential cookies (required for sign-in and payments) and non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising). On your first visit you are asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies. The advertising script does not load until you accept.
4. Third-party services we use
- Supabase — authentication and profile storage.
- Stripe — payment processing. We never receive your card data.
- Anthropic — Claude API for AI chat responses.
- Google AdSense — advertising. See section 5.
- Vercel — hosting and basic traffic analytics.
5. Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements on certain pages. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DART cookie) to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this and other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Our AdSense Publisher ID is pub-2551705530484163, and our authorization is declared in our public ads.txt file.
6. Children’s privacy
Yard Kitchen is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Visitors in the EU and UK
If you are in the EU, UK, or other GDPR-regulated jurisdiction, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding your personal data. Email info@amdrfoundation.org to exercise any of these rights. We rely on consent (for advertising cookies) and contract performance (for sign-in and subscription) as our legal bases for processing.
8. Data retention
Account and subscription data are retained for as long as your account is active. AI chat messages are not persisted on our servers. You may request account deletion at any time.
9. Security
All data is transmitted over TLS. Account and subscription records are protected by Supabase Row-Level Security. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1) and never reaches our servers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the site.
